    Organic jojoba oil: technically a liquid wax, very similar to your skin’s natural oils, light and easy to absorb.

    Blue tansy essential oil: gives Bootin’ the Blues its blue colour.

    Helichrysum essential oil: a much-loved botanical, also called immortelle.

    Organic blue tansy

    Blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) is a small yellow-flowering plant that grows along the coast of Morocco. When its flowers are steam-distilled, a natural compound called chamazulene forms and turns the oil a deep, inky blue. That’s where Bootin’ the Blues gets its soft sky-blue colour. No dyes, just the plant.

    Organic jojoba oil

    Jojoba (say “ho-ho-ba”) comes from the seeds of a tough desert shrub, Simmondsia chinensis, which grows wild in the dry deserts of south-western USA and northern Mexico. It thrives in heat and drought, much like the country our customers work in.

    Pressed from the seeds, jojoba isn’t technically an oil at all. It’s a liquid wax, and it’s remarkably similar to the natural oils your skin makes.
